I was pretty excited for whumptober. Heck I have my own new whumptober story started

I am pleased with it BUT then tonight this came across my twitter feed. creators of Prodigal Son being sued for copyright infringement Part of me says his claims of copying are weak, part of me says that he HAD a showrunner with WB before they pulled the plug doesn't look good.

And with this the last straw breaks. I am entirely serious. No regular reader of my blog is unaware I struggle with depression. I am not understating it by saying Pson and its fandom have kept me on an even keel more or less for the last 2 + years. But now the fact it wasn't ever picked up with that cast and wide fan base makes me wonder was this why? Why does everything I like turn out to be problematic?

I am just so tired of things that make me happy being pulled away from me. Sigh. And I'm quite aware that hooking so much of myself into this is maladaptive coping but regardless I'm angry, weepy and just so very done.
