See, you can't tell my grandmother things because she's one of those too mean to die types and bitches about everything. Well, i had to tell my uncle my computer died (he was waiting on a response and I had to tell him why he had to wait all weekend) I THOUGHT he was smart enough not to tell his mother that the computer died but nooooo. So apparently after she made dinner for everyone when Mom and Dad returned from their trip, she must have been on mom's case about it because obviously it's MY fault LIGHTNING hit my computer.

Mom, rather than tell me about her trip, spent the evening yelling at ME for this and won't let me borrow the money for a new one (I get paid tomorrow in theory but I haven't worked since May so I owe everyone so the money can't go for a new computer). She wants me to have it repaired. It's nearly 5 years old as is. It didn't work well to start with and now she wants me to have it repaired? It'll be 50-100$ just to LOOK at it, let alone work on it. I'm going to try to rexplain this to her tonight. I needed to not talk to her last night because my temper was threatening to get out of control (totally wrecked all creativity last night)

Good luck on the computer thing. I went nuts even when it was just my power cord that was out, necessitating I charge up my laptop every day at work and hope for maybe three hours use at home in the evening. Strange how these things that didn't exist when we were in grade school have now become necessities of life we couldn't live without.

Half my lecture right now is cross that out, you don't need to know it because instead of being able to build the powerpoints myself I'm using the ones that came with the book and there is stuff that these poor nurses just don't need to know. I'm like DAMN. This book really is good but it's for pre-med students really

I already told her that. I know it's just grandma fall out after a flight from Vegas to PA after a week of hiking all teh canyons gram HAD to have started in on her. My computer will be five in like four months.

I'm getting MPA (a friend she knows who does this for a living) to email her too.

Of course, I think the concert was sold out so that still doesn't mean I'll get a chance to go.
