let me laugh long and hard. 11 pm and I'm finally done grading all of today's things. That's all I did.

I did somehow bust open my left middle finger. I didn't feel it. I don't remember hitting it so how am I missing this much flesh?!?

I met two marmosets today. Bet you didn't think I'd say that. I was in my friend's office (she's the math prof and our chair) and her student had two marmosets, a full grown male and a five month old female in their carry-cases. I've never been that up close to a marmoset before. They are cute. I'm very on the fence about them being pets (leaning heavy to the no they shouldn't be side) She obviously loves them and cares for them deeply and the little girl made cute little noises and very much wanted to see who I was.

I forgot to mention I submitted a story yesterday. I have been thinking about two other shorts I might like to write. I really am thinking about that Dracula one. I could probably bang that out in a day if I sat down and tried.

I found out I forgot I had finished one of the chapters in the novel I needed to finish. I need to ask the writers group a little bit more about this. I have some concerns about it (the 80s era monster hunter thing) I'm starting to have doubts and I hate that.
