The first prompt is iris (bonus pink rose) indicating wisdom, hope, faith among other things. I do love irises though not as much as evil_little_dog. Unfortunately mine are all gone now. Not one has survived the monster my garden has become. I am trying to have hope I can save it. It took a nice blood sacrifice out of my leg today as I was cutting out trees. Maybe that will help.

I have hope that my new chair will be nice and comfortable (and not in my way) for years to come. The delivery people arrived early and it was pretty hysterical because Rocket was NOT having it. He wanted to hide but he didn't want to take his eyes off the men. He stood in the computer room doorway almost out of sight yelling stranger danger at the top of his lungs. Pretty much everyone was laughing at him.

I have hope that one of the three stories I submitted to anthologies today will be accepted. Even if they don't, I SUBMITTED them. I'm trying and that's always a good thing.

What isn't a good thing according to Rocket is that new chair. How dare I? Also it smells like new fabric so he's on the couch stealing my triceratops plushie

I get to share my wisdom routinely as a professor but two weeks ago I was challenged to share it with 30 ten year olds in stem camp. I wondered if I was as wise as I should like. Also I'm feeling that as I open my package of frozen red bean steam buns in 'peach shapes'
