I went to Michael's (didn't find what I wanted), got my oil changed and then mom and I met my cousin to go to Primanti Brother's and then on to the casino.

The casino was DEAD. No one was there. I have never seen it that empty. Mom did well at the slots. I did not. It was fun but still a little unnerving. Then again a) it's so hot b) the food SUCKS. It used to be delicious but this new management changed every last restaurant and they all suck it now. c) they don't offer much at all in the way of promotions any more d) slots too tight.

Primanti Brothers' was yummy and we hit happy hour so I had a duck duck juice (rum, raspberry liquor, banana liquor and pineapple juice) and it came out with a little rubber ducky in it. I kept him.

I was very sad to see
Sinead O'Connor died I was surprised to see she and I were the same age.

What I Just Finished Reading:

Queen of the Night by J.A. Jance - It was a slow starter but it ended pretty well

Straight out of darkness by Faye Kellerman, I forgot about this one. It's set in Germany during the rise of Nazism. A mystery that got lost in Kellerman giving the Nazis awful things to do to the Jews.

What I am Currently Reading:

Case of the Bleus a mystery arc from netgalley. So far so good.

Camp Arcanum and Malum two older signed books I've had lying about since before Covid but fit Popsugar so I'm trying to knock them down.
