How was your monday

cornerofmadnessI'm drinking a bad rendition of french martinis (trying to determine how to save this mess) that's how my day went.
Rocket was meant to go to the vet. The asshole didn't come back until 7 pm. Sigh.
So the Italian dinner was apparently given at the Midnight Mass Feast of the Seven Fishes pace (for the Non-Italians this could stretch til it was time to leave for mass). My parents left the restaurant at 11pm and never even got their cannoli. And it wasn't a lack of servers but they weren't even ready for the wedding party which is inexcusable. I honestly think that when my cousin called to double the guest list they did NOT do so because they served things with a tablespoon. So after 5 hours of feast everyone left hungry. Geez.

That Jon Bon Jovi was both hot and talented is a hill I'm willing to die on.

Over the weekend YT recced a bunch of NSFW songs for reasons only it knows but this one amused the hell out of me because god how many times have I felt like this in a bar in my 20s and 30s
I could probably keep this one for tomorrow's fan post but here you go, another YT amv rec.

Laura Veirs is from the Pacific North West, same as the Decemberists and has sung on a few of their albums (also Shara Nova of My Brightest Diamond played the Forest Queen character in The Hazards of Love album!).
