Took off most of the day to try and finish a story for a project. Didn't get that done either. sob. But at least I'm rolling along. Last night I introduced you to the good guys. Here's some of the bad guys. (I think I might need one more red herring baddie besides Killian)

Sean O'Connor - Edging on 50, Sean O'Connor has led something of a charmed life. His father had a business that made millions (no I have no clue what), and Sean's writing has won him all sorts of accolades once he met his muse, Mairin. Killian's as of yet unnamed mother was his personal assistant and his lover. He occasionally intimates that he really is Killian's father but he has no clue if he is or not. He has no interest in the boy once he got past age 13 other than his ability to see the future. He will not let go of Killian no matter what. He didn't mind telling the woman he'd adopt her son (he had let her believe he was going to marry her) simply because he wanted her boy who was about 5 years old at the time. Sean likes boys between the ages of 5 and 13. He is however all about appearances and expects Mairin to be everything a wife should be, though he's slightly afraid of her even if he wouldn't admit it. Sean believes Killian would never turn against him, after all the boy's lived with him since birth, even when Mom was alive, and he knows his hooks are in the boy deep. Feels no remorse over anything he's done to Killian only vague worries that someone might see the scars and wonder.

Mairin O'Connor - She knows Sean considers her his trophy wife and his muse. She knows about his preference for children and doesn't care. Mairin truly is Sean's muse (and boosts Killian's own writing talents too) but he has no idea how. She is a lianasidhe, a life force vampire known in Ireland to gift men with poetic skills. She drains life forces and kills at will when she feels like it. She likes her victims to be young and male but anyone will do in a pinch. She keeps both Sean and Killian off their guard. She enjoys tormenting her young charge because fear and pain make the life essence sweeter to her. She enjoys the psycho-sexual torture as much as she does the life force. She also has no intentions of letting Killian go.
