And yet another tornado

cornerofmadnessI spent the evening in the partially below ground bar game room at home watching the live Abney Park online concert, drinking honey wild turkey while waiting on the tornado heading this way while someone is shooting off fireworks. Fun times. In spite of the supposed sighting it must have been nowhere near my area of Washington County PA. It was very still, no wind at all. Who knows.
As for the concert Abney Park hired a 'brass band' that they sent endless emails about costing so much. They hired a trombonist and a sax/clarinet player. While I'm sure that it cost money but man they are the worst at marketing (but great at being annoying with the constant contact emails). That said I very much enjoyed the two guys they hired for the night. It did make things sound great. What was less great was their usual trumpeter singing falsetto for reasons...god knows what they were mind you. All I know was I was not impressed with that (He's never done that before) They have a new album coming out (I'm still waiting for the last new album that JK bought me for my birthday months ago) on monday that is paired with a novel. They thought this was new. I'm like I've seen this done with comic books at the very least. That said it could be fun. Buy it now, see it at Christmas....
From JK EC Comics Revival Introduces 3 New Horror Hosts in the Tradition of the Crypt-Keeper This comic looks good. Speaking of horror that new horror anthology I'm in has broken the top 30 horror anthologies so that's cool.
From Betty Romancing the Vote 2024 the auction raises money for voting fairness etc. There are cool writing related auctions like time with an agent and other things. Check it out.
Other than that all I did was work on lectures all day and write. I got a lot done on both and I'm quite glad we didn't get that tornado...
