This is what happens when I'm allowed to watch TV....

Davenport Writing Desk -1870's 10,000-20,000$ flashed on the screen.

“Bloody hell!” Spike winged a pack of cigarettes at the screen. “I had that ruddy desk, wrote all my poetry on it. Do you know how much beer and fags that desk would bring? I can’t believe it.”

Angel glanced up from his desk. “Spike, you know you’ve been banned from watching Antique Roadshow. It works you up.”

“Shut it, poof. You liked it well enough when we made up the drinking game to the word veneer.”

“That’s when you were banned.” Angel saw the 3,000$ snuff box. “I had that!”

It was all three of the Crane boys. I remember because I thought it was so funny, Niles and Frasier drinking their very expensive wine and Dad drinking beer.

My mum and I will often watch The Antiques Roadshow (though we mainly watch the British version.) The veneer comment rang true.

I got the veneer thing from Frazer but it is so true. I watch teh British version when they show it here simply because the antiques are SO much older
