wasted day

I spent the morning in advising training again (ready to cry at students who are being allowed to pursue majors they have no prayer of making it as. Hello if you fail basic bio, nursing is NOT for you)

Then I went to Jackson to wash clothes. I had no money. No big, I'll stop at the bank. Forgetting it was veteran's day. I also forgot my ATM card at home. There was a wasted trip.

Thought my throat/ear were getting better. I was wrong.


And even though I'm a little late, here's a thank you to all the veterans out there.

At my last school I actually had some of them tell me to my face that their mother/sister/best friend is a nurse so they know they do NOT need to know anatomy. It's so hard to not laugh at these people.

and thanks. Not better. I can press on the tube and hear stuff squish....yeah I'll be calling a doctor in a day or two
