Nah the 80s thing is going good. It's just I find battle scenes fun at the movies but boring in books. I think it's the balance of how long they go on.
I never even really thought about magical healing in terms of why can't it be used to say cure pneumonia until I posted that article last week (the week before?) and they asked if you can do this with healing magic then why is there disease. Ooooh...yeah. I guess one of the limits in my world is it can't reattach limbs.
Oh none of the named characters are going to die but since it's a mystery there is a dead person for sure. (Elio is in for a bad time but since he's basically this world's version of a crack whore that's not too unexpected)
