Just like I thought, infection in the eustachian tube, handed me a Z pack. If I still had my license I could have done that myself. I did discuss my sugar with her because yesterday I ate honey and had alcohol and my sugar was FORTY points lower than when I was doing the conscientious diabetic diet thing. She has no explanation either. We just added one pill to the list. Then I was yelled at for not taking my iron. My count was a 6. The lowest end of normal is a 15. Yeah I'm THAT anemic. Then she said, yes indeed your blood work indicates you do have polycystic ovarian disease, here's another pill for those symptoms (I'm now taking more medication that my 90 year old grandmother).

I go to get the pills filled. CVS says we're swamped come back in 3 hours. I don't live in Jackson. That means another 20 mile round trip to get my pills...tomorrow since I work until 9 pm oh well. Lucky my ear isn't killing me.

thanks. Yeah when I was seeing patients I'd get frustrated with the older ones who whine over two pills. It's like I'm young enough to be your grandkid, wanna see MY medicine cabinet

not in the lifethreatening way. But it fills my body with hormones, making my hair fall out, wrecking havoc with my periods and making me fat (cortisol is pumped in like you can't believe) and it usually causes sterility

it's the tube that runs from your middle ear to your throat to equalize the pressure in your ear. that's the thing that 'pops' when you're flying

I have that, too. The PCOS. Though, having a kid greatly reduced my side effects. I'm not complaining... it was awful. Running three miles a day and staying 200 pounds was not amusing...

not surprising, that's one of the things I've heard they use for PCOS woment to get pregnant because otherwise, it's not happening

Trust me, I understand. Half my friends kids resulted in malfunctions of the pill (you know telling people little details like antibiotics makes the pill relatively ineffective would be GOOD to do)
