Killing people helps

At least for word counts. I was stuck for most of the night, killed off another bully, made the prime suspect look guilty (a real good thing after a night of flirting with the detective's daughter) and got nearly 3000 words in two hours)

Oh and I'm trying to reestablish my vid collection and some are avi files which won't play here. I can't remember where I went to download the free software that will allow me to play avi files. can someone point me to the right place. Thanks.

VLC is a good player. Chelle put me onto it, and it'll play stuff that some of my other players won't.

I'll try that. Wonder if I can load it onto my jump drive first from work then bring it home...

It'll play anything, avi files for sure cause those are one of the most common formats used. My theory is, if you put a tuna salad into your computer, VLC will play it XD Honestly, if you have a file with subtitles that won't load, or that gets stuck in the opening bit on all your others players, VLC will most likely be able to play it.

And it's tiny, 7 or 8 MB, should have no problem putting it on your jump drive at work and taking it home. Jaki even managed to download it with her dial up connection, so you shouldn't have any problem.

sounds good to me. Oh I'm sure if I had the patience to download it here with the dial up I could but it's that patience thing. I dont' have it. I'll try it at work today and let you know if it fixes my problem

At least your story sounds like one that lets you work of some your frustrations. Funny how the character that was just killed off resembles that really annoying student.
