Like a lot. Like buckets. The dog birthday party was canceled. We did go out with my brother and SiL for the parentals' anniversary and my upcoming birthday. It wasn't bad. Got to play with their crazed kitten.

My brother taped my leg up to see if part of this pain is a fibular nerve entrapment.

Last night Dad liked my hair (because inside it looks brown) but tonight outside noticed hey it's violet and of course it becomes 'you sure know how to attract attention to yourself.' (i.e. how dare you?) Did not engage.


I found a few fun things mostly for spikesgirl58 but I think we can all 'enjoy' these.

As for this one, I want to know what combo of drugs you're on to come up with this combo. And also what possessed anyone to publish this recipe.

I can't tell from the photo what the first one is, and I only read the name, not the description, so I can kind of bear it. But the second one looks so disgusting! Maybe because it's a color photo, lol!

the kinesio tape all fell off already. the other (more important) one is still there

For the first recipe - I think if we took away the mayonnaise and replaced the donut with a bagel that might actually be eatable? Cottage cheese would likely balance the sweet/sour note of the prunes reasonably well, so if we didn't have added sweetness (from the donut) or more fat (from the mayonnaise)... could work. Not that I'd want to ruin the ingredients by giving it a try when I could use them for better results in a different recipe. But still.

For the second recipe - why?! If you're trying to sell your cream of mushrooms soup and it's not supposed to stay a soup - tell people to eat it with rice and a touch of parmesan. Maybe add a couple of cherry tomatoes and parsley to improve on the colour on your plate. But don't completely ruin the product you're trying to sell by telling people to make something absolutely disgusting. (Unless the product is disgusting and you want people to blame the recipe.)

You might be right with replacing the donut with a bagel but cottage cheese doesn't seem like a good cheese to use on a sandwich

Oh but it's not a sandwich, I don't have any idea what could've possibly given you that idea! Don't you see that it's a salad? The donut happens to be a little incentive for your "meat and potato" man to eat his cottage cheese prunes donut salad. (I wonder if they're taking the piss regarding vegetarianism? Asking someone who'd eat potatoes to have donuts instead sounds counter-intuitive.)

The thing I find fascinating about that whole thing is that its purpose is to sell you the mushroom soup. But there's no point in telling people that it's an easy and quick meal to make if the result makes you feel sick just looking at it.

I mean, after consulting wikipedia, there are apparently bread salads as a sub-category, but they look nothing like that... creation.
