Got things to work out

cornerofmadnessI only work in the afternoon on Tuesday so I used the morning to call the surgeon. receptionist asked where do I want to see him Grove CIty (furtherest), Circleville (middle) Chillicothe (closest to me at 40 miles away). I'm like I'm off Thursdays so wherever he is then.
SO this thursday when I'm in with him in Chillicothe in the morning and I have another appt that afternoon with Aspen dentists about this dumb missing tooth. I'm feeling worn. What was it Bilbo said? I feel like too little butter spread over toast.
I wanted to work on my ancestor necklace but I can't find where I put anything. sigh.
I accidentally got something down the wrong pipe (as if anyone does that on purpose) coughed so hard, it was bleeding. I'm like please tell me that's just a few burst capillaries. Because my secret worry is if it's not the thyroid compressing the esophagus it's something IN the esophagus (I'm high risk for esophageal cancer. I've been on GERD meds since I was 12)
I spent the morning thinking about the females of fandom for fannish 50. And then the Hazbin Hotel Season 2 teaser trailer dropped and OMFG so I'm dropping it here and under a spoiler cut I'm going to lose my shit, okay?
Okay for months now (because this took nearly 3 years to come out post S1 as indie animation is slow) we've known the Vees were going to be the villains. In honesty I don't expect any of them to survive to S3 which has huge ramifications for Angel who is owned by Valentino.
In the final song of S1 Vox promised to make a power grab and he wasn't shitting. He is going to try to get Lucifer's throne. From this he is obviously ready to cause a civil war. We finally see Velvette with a weapon and enjoying the shit out of it.
We have Lute who at the end of last season was trying to get Lilith to stop her daughter (could be what Charlie looks so horrified by in that one frame) so we know she'll be back to fuck them all up Lucifer's team and Vox.
Also Lucifer's full demon body in shadow is fucking awesome. My god the art.
I hope the hell that the Sir Pentious stuff is a flash back. We know he got to heaven. The pictures released before this had him in chains and then with Saint Peter, Abel and Emily being chaperoned. So I hope he's not cast back down. That would be disappointing (as would Emily falling) What we don't know is does Charlie know Pen is in heaven
But what I wanted most to talk about are two scenes with Angel. I've done a little bit with this before and I wish I had done more with it. I think that's why I had been so ambivalent about this premiere. I wanted to finish MY stories before it happened and I'm like just relax. AU and canon divergence are just fine.
But as I said above Angel is owned by Valentino (which was the point of my sunday post, Angel knows the Vees so how could he not know Alastor (who we see battling someone in the Entertainment District no doubt Vox))
Vox is going to take on Charlie and Lucifer. Angel now lives with Charlie but Vox's partner is ANgel's owner. He has to go to Vee Tower daily to perform in movies. Angel is incredibly vulnerable. Valentino could shred his soul and end him entirely (and would if it suited him) He's also an addict who isn't always clear thinking.
Vox torturing him (as we see him doing here) is no surprise. What is he making Angel see? I'm assuming he's being forced to watch someone he loves being hurt (Husk, Charlie, Cherri) and then we see Vox reflected in Angel's eyes. Vox has hypnotic powers so is he going to turn Angel to their side? Send him under as a mole? There are so many possibilities (in my own past stories I've done the Vees want him to be a spy and he says no and they torture him. Why I never thought about Vox forcing the issue...I'm a fool)
And then we have the new hotel which just looks sexy. We see (as we did in the finale of S1) Lucifer celebrates Husk and Angel and how they stood up for Charlie and her dream (with the card suits and the XXX for them in neon) Sadly I don't see the carousel any more. There is however a new train.
The most bizarre thing is seeing Husk in a gown tied to the train track with Angel in a western-like attire racing to save him. Who the fuck Snidely Whiplashed Husk into being Nell Fenwick to Angel's Dudley Do-Right (and why the HELL do I remember those names). However Angel rescuing Husk does something to my whumpy heart. As much as I love Husk rescuing Angel we rarely see it go the other way in fanon and this is going to be great)
I'm finally excited for this. S3 is supposed to be about family and that's when we'll finally see Arackniss and ANgel's family (so I'm assuming Angel survives til then and isn't in heaven yet) I just hope I don't have to wait until 2028 for that. I know they found the voice actor for Arackniss
My throat is killing me so yeah the blood was probably from coughing out a pointy chip. And bad tooth hole is throbbing. And Rocket tried to bring me down like a wildebeast.
