some of the day's strangeness

I had to make up all the orders for the lab. Nothing like ordering 20 dead cats to start the day off topped off with a side order of frogs and eyeballs...

Then I had to go to Jackson because my VCR no longer tapes sound. It sounds like adults on Peanuts. Well I can't afford a DVR and I don't need or want a dual dvd/vhs system. All Wal-Mart has (which is my ONLY option for 60 miles) is a Sanyo for 50$. i see it this way. Yeah it's cheap but I can buy FOUR of them for the price of one combo set and six+ for the price of a DVR. I'm content. But the weirdness arose when I realize that I stumbled out of the house (I'm beat today) in my ratty jogging pants and sweatshirt with no bra. It's warm so I have on no jacket. I dont' realize this until I'm there and I'll be damned if I drive back 12 miles to change. Of course another professors spots me in the Wal-Mart.

I then proceed (still shamelessly bra-less) to the library. Apparently every young adult in Jackson loves manga as much as I do. This little bible belt library has a ton of it. There was nothing left on the shelf. I snatch up the last Eerie Queerie before a horde of locusts uh, YA's descend on the manga kiosk and pick it even cleaner. I've never quite seen the like.

I stop on the way home to get some Long John's for dinner snce I'll be damned if I'm cooking tonight. So there I am trying to unlock my door, VCR under one arm, library books under the other, LJ's dangling from my wrist when the two outdoor cats who think they're mine run up and decide. OOOO fishy pinata for us. I have a stuck lock on my door. I'm trying to get it open before the cats are into the food. The cats race in before me. I round up the critters and put them back out with some left overs to make them happy.

My parents proceed to make odd calls to me. Mom has gone to a dinner but it's not until next week. Dad has forgotten he told me the story of Cabela's early in the week so he and mom are on two phones arguing about it back and forth while asking me. (mom wins) I'm too tired to even think and I have a long day tomorrow. Whimpers.

And some conservative newsletter sent me their magazine with a no postage due envelope to sign myself up for more. I filled it with extremely liberal stuff off the net and mailed it back to them with no address of mine on it....

And I'm going to top the night off with a little boy on boy manga I picked up at the library...who says life's no fun if you come in at an angle?

I walk real slow so I'm safe from beating myself to death....

I order them from Carolina's (or Ward's or Fischer). I just assume that they get them from pounds etc. At least I was able to afford the skinned ones

Oh Dana, I wanted to ask you something, you know Dandelion the Movie, I have a copy of a WinRAR Format and if you extract it out, the movie can be played on Windows Media Player and erm I was thinking of uploading it for anyone who haven't watch the movie yet.

I know everyone is waiting for that damn dvd to come out but it doesn't seems to come out yet. Why does this always happens to VK movies. *Sign*

You must be wondering how did I get this movie?? I downloaded from torrent but the link has expired already. It had expired right after I have download the movie. I wanted to spread the news but I guess it too late.

I have tried to upload YSI (YouSendIt.com) and Yahoo! Account but it wasn't a success (it kept giving me page cannot be displayed or your file is not uploaded) and my guess is that the Ext.file is too heavy so it could not be uploaded.

I was wondering is there any other ways to upload it or share it or you know anyone who know how share heavy files. I mean I really don't mind sharing it. These few days I have been trying out but to no achievement *sign*. So any ideas..sorry to bother you :)

Ok..thanks anyway, hmm..maybe I'll ask its_art/Emcee, see if she knows this kind of stuff and some of my friends around who are suppose to be computer experts but hopefully they know. I see what I can do, if I'm able to then yeah at least ppl who luv vk can watch the movie but I juz hope that the dvd will come out soon :)
