update

Feeling pretty good. Hardly crampy at all. A little groggy now which could be from too much sugar at lunch (mom gave me ice cream with caramel and fudge) or left over sedation but otherwise I feel better than before I went in for the procedure.

It's cold and snowing (insuring I'm trapped in here with mother). Dad's bored and keeps calling. Right now I'm editting a story and Mom's making an outdoor's box for the cats after bringing them inside for a while (did I mention it's COLD. over fifty degrees of temp. drop since thursday) and she's washing the new Faberware she bought me for Valentine's day. SHe got me a new microwave too since mine dates back to 1979 and barely works. She was going to get me a black one to go wiht the red and black cookware but it was twice the price for lesser wattage. She decided white is good enough for me (granted I would have do the same...) One night on the futon and she's ponying up half the cash for a couch for me.

Sounds like (1) your recuperating in records time, and (2) good on the futon! You'll be getting a couch. Yay! (Moms are like that; I'd do the same thing.)

I'm glad you're feeling good. At least it sounds like you'll be getting something out the deal. What's the saying - every couch has a silver lining?

We're getting really cold weather as well. My poor pup is having a reaction to his antibiotics and keeps wanting to go out to cool off. There goes all the heat in the house!

thanks. I'm debating on if I want a couch or not though. Can't afford a sleeper which means I need to keep the futon and I'm not sure if it fits in the office

i was okay until I ate lunch then got a little exhausted and queasy. I'm a tad better now. And only if the futon fits in the office can i do the couch. I need a place for guests to sleep

Ha. When I lived in Orlando, my mother refused to come visit because I had no furniture she wanted to sit on.

Not all mothers are like that. [sigh]
