it got much warmer than anticipated today. I put out all my seedlings and plants to get some light. They dried out and wilted. Poor things. I just gave them scads of water and shall hope for the best

Disappointed all the students by telling them I wasn't going to drop any questions from their test. counteroffered with a really sweet deal on extra credit.

Got my tax refund. Whee.

Still arguing with mom about Easter. I don't really want to go home because I do NOT get off easter monday. Which means I have to leave in the middle of the holiday. What is the damn point? Dad agrees. Mom doesn't. To top it off I have to create two exams while I'm there. Really all i'm going to do is WORK. She thinks I'm going to be doing all this stuff with her. It's like mom NO, even if I come home I'm busy. You can stare at me working. Isn't this exciting. Sigh.

I used to love teachers who would give me extra credit. I think it's part of the reason I got such good grades in college. So, really, your students shouldn't complain.

Parents can be very demanding during the holidays. Ugh.. but at least that means they love you, right?
