The Good and the Bad
May. 10th, 2006 04:09 pmThe bad. Dell computers are a piece of shit. Well we all know this. The problem i've been having since the day I got the computer has gotten worse, taking only a few hours now to develop instead of all day. I call them again. I tell them the problem, that everything becomes inoperable and I have to restart. She does another hard ware test and says it's software and then asks me to demonstrate the problem (apparantly she didn't hear the it takes hours to develop part of this). And of course they want nearly 300$ in 'software warranty' to talk to me. I tell them again to go to hell. Upshot kiddies, don't buy Dell, ever. I've had 5 now (two personal 3 at work) and all of them died very early deaths.
The good - Bought my couch. It's bigger than I thought original (never trust what they look like in the store since those stores are well enormous, get dimensions) I'm thinking it's 88X38X42....wow. 38" is the problem. Standard door size is only 36" so I call and ask can they get it in a 36" door? Yes, they do it all the time. Let's hope so. It should be here on friday.
It's the couch not the loveseat I got (the three seater for those who don't use the term 'loveseat')
