Holtz S3 - Musings

He watched the little boy hunched near the fire. How could a place get so damn cold? Surely home had never been like this, Holtz mused. It was all he could do to keep his child from freezing to death. Of course in the ‘summer’, if it could be called such, poor little Steven suffered so in the extreme heat and they’d be wishing for ‘winter.’

Maybe this was one of the reasons this place was hell. One day he’d show Steven a proper home where cold and hot were within reason. One day, they’d both be happy.
