“I don’t care if she’s punishing Spike. We need him back. Trying to follow Drusilla’s ramblings is making me crazy.” Darla dropped onto the settee in a heap of silk and lace.
Angelus rubbed the bridge of his nose. “We need her visions so someone has to talk to her.”
“I’ll work on making her forgive him. You go check on the idiot and see if he’s ready to apologize.”
Angelus snorted but went to the root cellar. He pulled up the door. Spike growled up at him. “You done being stupid yet?”
“Go to hell.”
Angelus slammed the door down.
Dawn - S 6 - Babysitting Blues
When she got home, she was going to have to take a two hour soak in the tub to de-stress. Dawn hadn’t expected this to be so hard. All her friends did it. It was a good way to make some extra money but she was ready to tear her hair out. Kids were evil. Chasing after four of them was a dizzying experience. She half feared that their parents would never come back from their ‘date night.’ Maybe it was a spell that was making the night endless. She’s rather face demons than this. Cash wasn’t worth these brats.
