Happy Birthday tinpanalley!!!

Here's a little birthday drabble for you.



“I can’t believe you talked me into this,” Spike grumbled.

“Come on, the mall is fun!” Dawn insisted, dragging him into a store.

“Then why do I keep getting images of your big sis shoving a Redwood through my chest?” Spike didn’t know where to look first. There were too many tasty tidbits. Too bad Drusilla had never embraced modern fashions.

“Only if she finds out you came with me. Okay hold this while I go try these on.” Dawn thrust something into his hands and disappeared into the changing rooms. Spike stood there, gaping after her, her purse dangling from his hands. He looked over a few other unlucky blokes who had gotten roped into this heinous practice of shopping with their girlfriends. Not that Dawnie was his girl, though it was an interesting thought.

Dawn popped out of the change room. “What do you think, Spike?”

Spike’s eyes roamed over what very little there was of the itty bitty blue bikini. “That I like shopping for swim suits.”
