I forgot i had this one on my camera. It's a B&B in Circleville...which is such a run down nothing of a town outside of Columbus. This was pumpkin fest day. I went past this place time and time again and thought you know, it's a gorgeous house (i'm in my car at a red light hence the bad picture angle)

and I took the poinsetta to work and everyone loves it...okay my students aren't good judges either (you can almost see the kiss up lips puckering) So i'll let you judge, pretty or tacky (the glitter didn't image well)

So, how much does it cost to stay in Mudgett's Castle? Yeah, I know it isn't the real thing--I bet there's not even a drop chute, never mind a gas chamber--but still, that was my first thought.

That poinsettia is a real plant?! What the heck did the grower do to it to make it that unnatural color? Water it with dye? (And what happens when you just let it grow without feeding it more dye?)

it's a real plant. It's just dyed blue and then glittered. It's a white poinsetta in real life

I actually like the red and surprisingly enough the pink and white ones because the coloration can be so funky but yes blue glitter is more me and black woudl be wonderful
