Both those in the band of storms I was in from IN through KY, TN and OH and those further south. I'm okay. Everything on my porch wasn't this morning but nothing was broken.

I did, however, almost not make it to work due to a part of my road being underwater. 3pm it was still raining hard enough for me to consider an ark. two hours later it's bright but the creek behind my apartment is almost cresting. I'll try to bring pictures to work tomorrow. Hopefully we're done before my bedroom is under water.

the worst part is the rain is pestering the crap out of my arthritis

The pounding rain hit here just as I was leaving work, and since I park a block and a half away, my feet were soaked by the time I got to my car.

I went to church this afternoon for Ash Wednesday services, and two of the ladies that live on the Island were talking about the river approaching flood stage. This? Is never good.

Mom has started taking two tablespoons daily of tart cherry concentrate juice and within a week, is moving around and climbing on things and it's amazing. She's not in pain any more. You might wanna look into it.

Really? NO joke? O_o I was about to say that we shall not speak of Arthur during rainy winter months... but I may need to know more of this tart cherry concentrate juice... for example.. how much sugar is in that?

Well I found some info on a particular brand... http://www.cherryjuicepower.com/nutritionalfacts.htm

Unfortunately it says it has 27 grams of sugar in each serving... and that's way way way way too much.

Yah.. generally speaking, it's better to eat the orange and the apple... though one apple is too much for me at one time. I slice it up as fine as I can and eat a quarter of it... with other stuff. Oranges aren't so bad... only 13 grams I think... and 6 of them are fiber. I can't eat a whole orange either though.. gives me a terrible stomach ache. hahaha. Yay for IBS WOOT. Blueberries and strawberries are a good trade though.

A serving is 6.5 oz. I did the math today. I don't know how much a tablespoon is to an oz, though.

okay. I'll see if I can remember to check how much sugar is in a serving - Kathy says she takes it, too, though, and she's diabetic.
