Just got back into my yoga. Now i feel like jelly. Instsead of lowering my sugar, it shot it up. Glares at liver. You weren't starving my friend. No need to dump sugar.
Mom's home and fine.
Why are you disappointing me so much Fox? Speaking of Sarah, I didn't even finish it as I had first thought. You know you're a snooze if your audience can't even figure out if the season closer is over or not.
I just realized something that has been bothering me through this whole run. James has to be the WORST FBI man ever. Sarah, John and Dereck leave their fingerprints EVERYWHERE. Have these people never heard of gloves? Any sensible reason APHIS hasn't spat out their prints at any of the multiple crime scenes they've been at? About the only thing going for this mess is John is cute and Summer at least has good moves. Maybe they could ditch Sarah and Derek.
And New Amsterdam is just as senseless. It's like Hmmmm I want to do a show about an immortal but not a vampire. those are done to death. Hmmmm, I know he's been gifted with immortality until he finds his one true love (Did this person work for Whedon? This idea is about a weird and plot hole ridden as Angel's curse) What should he be? I know a cop. Problem, I know nothing about cops. I've never even seen and episode of Law and Order or CSI or NYPD Blue .
I mean this show had potential but it misses at so many levels. One the flashbacks are overused and distracting. I'm pretty sure you don't just get assigned wily nily to homicide. you need to test into it. WHAT is his partner so combative about and her cavalier attitude to murder? It's in the past so who cares? (while looking away as if to suggest she has a Deep Dark Secret). Rolls eyes.
He takes his great grandson to a crime scene???? Just how many ways would that get any evidence found tossed out of court. And falling over dead when his one true love passes by...um are we SURE this is what those wacky Native Americans meant by 'gift.' Surely he was supposed to ENJOY a normal life with her, not keel over dead instantly. What kind of sense does this make?
About the only things I did like was Omar (and the reveal about him) and the sound track. Eh, I'll give it another show or two. I can make it a few more shows of this but I'm not hopeful.

Date: 2008-03-09 12:47 am (UTC)I have the guns. A couple of highpowered rifles, some handguns and at least two shotguns in the house. This is what I get when my dad likes hunting.
I watched the first 15 minutes of SCC and turned it off. I just couldn't bare to see them butcher Terminator like that. And Robert Patrcik will always be the creepiest damn Terminator ever.
Just once, once, I'd love to see a TV Show about werewolves that's believable and has a good story. Vampires are so overrated... I have a feeling you'd love Terror Trax. It a choose your own adventure story cept on CD so you hear everything but you can't see anything. The werewolf track is entertaining and the vampire one (happens in a hospital) is downright spooky.

Date: 2008-03-09 03:20 am (UTC)Finally. I think only two of my Flist feel the same way I do about SCC. Most of my RL friends hated it but my list loved it.
Terror Trax does sound good. I could turn my vampire and werewolf mystery into a screenplay i guess
