You don't see me often turning to the flist for monetary help. However, I have a lot of friends who for very personal reasons are raising money for charities. if you (or for those of us in groups that need a charity to keep our charters) have a few extra dollars, give these links a look please.

Breast Cancer Relay for Life This will take you to sarakat's page. Help her meet her goal. As I wait around to see what that density in my own breast is, this is obviously in the back of my mind.

M.S. Walk This will take you to one of my friends from college's sponsership page. M.S. remains a mysterious and deadly disease.

Sadder still is this Rubinstein Taybi syndrome a very rare genetic disorder one of the 'orphan' diseases that due to its rareness can't find funding at all so its up to the families to try and raise the money.
