So I bought this yantra ring I have rings here at the house, all size 6's and 7's but since a) this is online b) expensive relatively speaking (well not as far as jewelry goes but I'm cheap) I went to Macy's over the break and had my ring finger sized.

81/2 to 9. Oh come on. My grandmother's wedding band is a nine and it fits my thumb. My very few other rings do fit but I figure much like bras and pants they're making them smaller now. It only comes in full sizes and it's easier to shrink a ring than stretch so I got it bigger but it made me sad. 15 years ago my engagement (ha!) ring was a 4 1/2. That's how thin I was the first half of my life. I get very sad thinking about it.

Speaking of sad I started revamping (no pun intended) that old vampire thing I was talking about and gah, SOOOOOO many things in there I had that somehow was never good enough for paying short story markets but ended up on Buffy the Vampire Slayer a few years down the road. Let's see I was marketing these stories as far back as 1996 (one still has my columbus addy on it) and I had a vampire who looks like SPike (well that's easy to change), the evil vampire working for the Nazis, taking a vamp down with a taser. Sigh just...sigh.

Ring sizes

I need to get some of my rings made bigger. I've gained weight and I know I'm holding entirely too much fluid in my hands. Most of my rings are silver so having them enlarged is probably going to be more than I paid for them in the first place!

Blame it on the keyboard. FIgure your hands are more MUSCULAR from all the typing.

Yeah, that's the ticket . . .
