sort of volunteered to potentially write back up for something. Realized I don't KNOW anything about Angel: After the Fall. I mean I've heard the flist grumbling (usually unfavorably) about Buffy S8 but nada on Angel S6... so Ih it Wiki

Why didn't anyone say anything about this? Is wiki's write up more exciting than it is? I've always avoided the Buffy/Angel comics since usually the art and stories sort of suck. Nothing anyone said about Buffy 8 made me want to read.

But Angel 6? SPike & Connor working together? How many times did I write that? Connor wanting Gwen, yeah wrote that YEARS ago. I predicted more than a few things so I gues I want to see it

I tried to get into/like the "Angel" tv series but couldn't. Cordelia annoys me horribly and when Angel hooked up with her romantically *shudder* and sexually, I wanted to stab my eyes out with a poker.

I did enjoy the series more when Spike showed up though. Spike is hilarious and is one of my favorite BtVS characters (him and Giles). James Marsters does the best British accent I have ever heard (even better than the Brits themselves!).

I wish Spike had gotten the spinoff instead of Angel...

The Angel: After the Fall comic book is great, great, fun!

I can't get into the Buffy comics, and I've tried, but the AtF? It's like trying to eat just one chip. :-)

The storytelling is very good, very suspenseful. Yesterday, I received the latest issue and my heart was breaking...just breaking. (Not gonna spoil it any more than I have...)

It reminds me of the best of all four seasons put together. Amazon is putting out a hard-back edition sometime this fall or next spring...pre-order it and you'll be glad you did.

I have to check out the Buffy thing now. I'd enjoy the dvds more if they worked on the darn tv.

What in the world is Baklava? I know it's Greek (maybe a dessert?) but that's about it. Always been curious.

it's layers of phyllo dough (held together by lots and lots of melted butter) then a filling of cinnamon sugar and ground nuts (traditionally walnuts) then more layers of phyllo dough and butter

Ihate Spike in the Angel spinoff. As much as I loved Spike I learned to dislike him very much after S6-7 of Buffy.

As for Angel/cordelia, yes that was horrid
