Mother Nature....pick weather and stick with it

Yesterday it was very warm for this time of year and pissed down rain hard (and I noted laughingly our temperature was warmer than Phoenix). I woke up at 5 AM to see it had SNOWED. A lot. I wasn't getting out of here but i just saw the scraper go by so I'll try it.

Had weird dreams last night. I don't remember one of them but it ended creepily with me holding a gutted sheep (for dinner) that turned into a long haired white mutt...who was impossibly still alive.

The better dream was of me and mom at a casino where I was playing two machines at once and won 12,000$ between them.

Roy, while I appreciate you wanting to be near me in the computer room (and yet acted like I was going to kill you when i wanted you to sit with me on the couch) it's just not good form to lay completely across my path, refusing to move and then complaining loudly when i step over you.

I took a double dose of nighttime cold meds and could barely walk this morning and yet it appeared to have NO effect on how much snot you can make. WTF. I've been thru a box and a half of tissues in two days. Now i have to truck out in the snow to get more before I remove my nose permanently trying to wipe with toilet paper.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but Mother Nature has chosen weather, and stuck with it. It's called Ohio: Late Autumn.

We had warm weather day before yesterday, then cold as the F yesterday. Today it was hazy most of the day with occasional light flurries and at 5pm just when I was ready to leave work it started to pelt down frozen rain. And we proceeded to get slaughtered on a Tuesday with two drivers struggling to drive on those roads and everyone and their brother deciding that NOW was the best time to go out and do stuff... because obviously it's better to drive on a sheet of ice today, than wait until tomorrow when the salt trucks have got it under control. Moron's should not drive.

Snow level here's supposed to drop to 2,000 feet, which will put snow on the Superstition Mountains for sure, and probably in Cave Creek, as well. And we down in Phoenix will miss it unless the cloud cover lifts (which has completely obscured all major landmarks, including Squaw Peak.

You're lucky he only complains when you step over him, instead of suddenly getting up and running under your feet. *g*

Ugh, what a horrible dream...

I totally sympathize with your wild temperature fluxes. That's all we get down here (except in summer when we could actually use a good fluxing). And, oddly enough, just the other day it was colder here than it was in Denver, CO...
