So Nero 9 is out and I went to check to see if Nero 8 (which is vista compatible) is available for free. Yep. And in spite everyone saying, that like Norton it has become a totally bloated program, I download it. Bloatware is right. Holy hell that took forever...and it doesn't work. Firstly it says demon (which hello the download did NOT say demo or I wouldn't have bothered) and the damn thing says serial # expired. I waited 45 minutes after work on highspeed for this

so I downloaded Realplayer. Well i did that earlier in the week and mistakenly ended up with the Mac version (I didn't look but this is the first time in my life a Mac version was the first link....) Got the right version today...and IT doesn't work. It says I need to redownload...

And I have system suite some program (ala norton that used to be good and now isn't) that is supposed to be doing anti viral anti spy/malware functions but I don't think it likes the vista (what the hell does?) So took everyone's advice and downloaded AVG.

Okay before i dump my only anti viral (and given tonight's track record) anyone know for sure if AVG's free version works on Vista?


and on a cat note, Damn it Roy, you got worms again. Quit eating shit you find outself. This is why you'll never be allowed on my bed.

Yeah, the fee version works on Vista, it's what I'm using at the time.

nero to burn the crap I flich off netflix in all honesty (I have 6 but that is incompatible with Vista)

Winamp for watching Video clips for work. I do know that there is burning software from Winamp too, but I think you have to buy it then. I use Winamp for everything I possibly can. If you look at my desktop snapshots it's always in a bar docked to the top of my screen. I love the fact that it will dock like that up out of my way with pretty much all the important buttons and functions easily available. I have used it for years. I hate Windows Media player and despise Real Player, iTunes, and most other media software.

i'm not allowed to download anything onto the work computer. We have to deal with realplayer. I have other media players here but not ones that willopen realplayer files
