And I was impressed with the teams and the audience who fell silent (and a few players looked like they were praying) after the Steeler defense laid down a hit on a Raven receiver that left the Steeler being lead off like Jell-O and the Raven off on a body board.

And yay to our coach, the youngest to take a team to the superbowl (and heck the last time we were there we made history too with Big Ben being the youngest QB in the game)

Funny enough I am a Ravens fan, live n Baltimore. No worries I won't go off the handle b/c of the steelers. We all knew that they were a very tough team. And no one whether they were fans or not thought the Ravens were going to win. But a good game it was. I do hope the guy that get knocked out is Okay, even if I am a fan the Ravens played like bums, so dissappointing. But I watched the whole thing. I probably won't watch the Super Bowl, but we shall see. i wore purple and crap and everything, but I already knew the game was won before it was over. Steelers took the Ravens defense out like a candle. I ate shrimp till I was bursting at the seams? You have anything special for the main event?

to be honest both teams didn't play very well. Most of our points were field goals.

sadly i live alone in Bengals country right now so mostly I'll be here in the other room, listening to the game (the Steelers make me too nervous to watch) and running in to see new commericials

I just hope my students show better sense this year. The last time we won the Superbowl one of my students told me I'd have to be an idiot to like the Steelers. I'm thinking well not that much s ince we're the champs and um hello do you honestly think insulting your professors intelligence is your best bet in a very hard class?
