He’s selfish sometimes. Connor realizes that. When he had came back into his memories, he had been a little angry with Angel for what he had done. He understood it, too, but he didn’t like it. Now that it was all over, another apocalypse averted, Connor had begun to truly understand the gift he had been given.
Tromping through the lush undergrowth – not unlike Quor-tarth’s forest – of the Daintree Rainforest as part of his Down Under summer aboard, Connor relished his implanted memories. College, hell a future, all made possible by one sacrifice. He’d have to thank his father properly.
Spike, Dru, Angelus – 1800’s Going Down
“Have you seen that bastard, Angelus?” Spike demanded, stomping into the room. He peered at Dru, not quite used to the idea that he didn’t have to squint near-sightedly any more. She lounged on the couch, a strange but very happy expression on her face. Her gown puffed out around her.
She waved a hand languidly. “Our star isn’t in sight.”
“Did you hear what he did to me last night? Going to tear his throat out.” He stormed off on his quest.
Angelus flipped up Dru’s skirts, peering out from under them. Licking his lips, he broke out laughing.
has naughty implications but nothing graphic
