Hah.. you realise that these two cats are doing this 'Kitten attacks grown up from behind, grownup 'corrects' kitten" thing on purpose right? Roy is secretly goading the kitten to try to 'get' him. Star does it with Olive all the time. Less so now that Olive is nearly grown... but there is still much bitching and growling in their play, even though it's clearly play and has been for a while. Star will pin the kitten down and then pretend to try to bite one waving kitten foot after another. Only she never actually bites... she just tries to mouth them... and now, sometimes she just pins her down an licks her.
