I was explaining referred and visceral pain to my nurses, poking myself in the right side to explain how unlocalized that sort of pain is and found a one inch by half inch painful mass just below my ribcage and i'm thinking hmmmm where did YOU come from? I'll point it out to the ob/gyn tomorrow evenif it's out of her strike zone.

Tonight Kyo was being the love bunny of all time while i was watching my recording of Criminal Minds, rubbing his face all over mine and licking me....so while i was trying to keep him from licking my mouth and trying to watch tv he BIT me in the eye. Evil little monster. Accept my scary love or I'll bite you!

Referred pain is so weird. I had back pain from my gallbladder, but no real pain in the gallbladder area until the stones moved (and got stuck in my bile duct). Even then, my abdomen only ached a bit.
