01. Do you snack while you read? If so, favourite reading snack? – Sadly yes I do. It’s probably one of the many reasons I’m too fat. Potato chips were a favorite. Now, I’ve switched to tea. Far less fattening
02. Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you? I would seriously slap you simple if you marked my books. What in the name of god would you need to mark? That’s fine for text books when you’re learning but otherwise keep your pens to yourself.
03. How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears? Laying the book flat open? This is what book marks for. Anything else would guarantee I’d never lend you another book
04. Fiction, Non-fiction, or both? Both though I read much more fiction than non fiction
05. Hardcopy or audiobooks? Hard copy. There have been enough studies showing audiobooks distract you while driving to the point of making it almost as dangerous as driving drunk (much like cellphone use while driving)
06. Are you a person who tends to read to the end of chapters, or are you able to put a book down at any point? Mostly I stop anywhere but if I’m settled in for a good long read then I do try to read to the chapter break.
07. If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away? It doesn’t happen often but yes I do
08. What are you currently reading? Hunting Fear by Kay Hooper and Tea Bliss by Teresa Cheung
09. What is the last book you bought? Got a bunch at once, The Good Thief by Hannah Tinti, The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly, Linda Fairstein’s newest and The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
10. Are you the type of person that only reads one book at a time or can read more than one at a time? Oh at least two
11. Do you like re-reading books? When I was younger yes. Now I have no time for it. I do reread manga but that’s about it.
