graduation day

cornerofmadnesshonestly they either need to find speakers worthy of an hour time slot or better yet, if you want to use alumni (which is fine) then give a more reasonable time slot. Frankly do you think these kids are going to remember what is said? I went to two of three of various college graduations and I don't remember at all.
It was exceedingly windy. I discovered that 4 bobby pins won't help you in gale force winds.
Dad is disappointed i don't have a pork pie hat.I WANT one. they're about 100$. I suspect I'll be getting one for my birthday now.
At least the party we faculty throw ourselves was good. Good snacks, good wine/beerr, good conversation. We even broke out in song.
