Bird's teeth

cornerofmadnessthat's what one of my students told me she found in her owl pellet (she found MOUSE teeth). I'm dealing with people who don't even know birds have no teeth. But today was finals. I have two weeks off
Can't celebrate. Found out today I'm going to get boned hard. They're trying to force me into teaching the nightclass. I threw a fit. The whole point of being made to drop my senior level course was to make sure i wasn't overloaded come spring. Now they want to hit me with the non-major class which I loathe at NIGHT, double loathe. I said no. You know and I know that when they can't find anyone in TWO weeks willing to teach a class for next to no adjunct pay that they'll make me do this.I'm not tenured. I don't really get to say no. I'm so beyond pissed. They do something like this to me every semester.
Mom went to see one of the podiatrists I went to school with today. Okay he inherited his practice from Daddy but she was rather sad when she told me about this place that generates nearly a million dollars a year...that was supposed to be me. I'm sitting here trying to be sure i can afford rent and my impending new car. I cried for a while. It's all well and good for me to remind myself envy is a destructive emotion but it's not really envy. I worked hard to get the things he has and this came atop of the realizing I can no long move my thumb back towards my nose. It's stiff and wooden and I can't feel it and yeah, I guess I do get angry and envious.
The one bright part is some of you looked at my synopsis and offered help. You have no idea how much I appreciated that. At least I got 90% of the novella editted while they made their way through the finals.
