House is half clean

the kitchen was way scarier than I realized and now I feel a little grossed out.

Cleaned out the car in prepartion for selling. Today was another dog day. In under 15 minutes I cam out of the car looking like my hair was freshly from the shower it was so wet with sweat. And in spite of ALL the rain we've had in this hot weekend ALL my plants were utterly wrecked and limp. Watered the blue blazes out of them.


Happy Things - two things that actually happened yesterday

1)because of the pleasant cooler summer my electric bill is like dead cheap.

2) when i went to throw out my glass recyclables someone had thrown out five glasses vases. I NEEDED a vase. I took the three prettiest. I haven't been dumpster diving in a while

are you planning to use the cash for clunkers trade in? or is your car worth more than the $4500 allotted?

I really think it's a little wasteful when they want to take a perfectly good running but older car and basically put a bolt through the engine to destroy it though. My car is a 1992 civic which runs perfectly and still gets 38-40 mpg, but if I could afford to buy a new car for over ten thousand dollars (probably even WITH the guaranteed $4500 trade in, they'd destroy the car to keep anyone else from ever owning it. I'm not sure how I feel about that idea. I think it should only apply to actual clunkers/polluters/guzzlers don't you?

anyway, I hope it goes well for you and your trade in. If you Cash for Clunker it though, you wouldn't have to clean it out! hahaha

I dont' think it qualifies as a clunker since it's a high mpg car. I'd hate to see it junked. it's still halfway decent with about 5 grand worth of parts in it that areless than 3 years old
