It was a horribly stormy day to drive home in but I made it fine. I nearly hit a goat like less than 7 miles from home though. And I did nearly get creamed by a tour bus. It was in a work area in Wheeling. Luckily I was going east. the westbound lane (I'm assuming there was an accident) was solid stopped traffic from 4 miles west of Cabela's to the PA border (for those in th wheeling area...)

looked at the Honda and Toyota on line. The Civic is bigger but it's all digital with a stereo/heating/ac etc system as one unit. I don't like that at all.

Happy things day 3 - I made it back without trouble

unhappy things - this heat. Three people just in my plan had asthma attacks (me included) thanks to how terribly hot and humid it is. Also I had to pack the car in the pouring rain. that was fun

other than that there's nothing much to say so have some dragons

Yay for safe arrival.

Yay for not hitting the goat.

Yay for not being hit by the tour bus.

I haven't been past Cabella's but I understand that traffic has been a mess up there for quite a while now. I'm glad I took 22 thru Weirton to the turnpike to get to the airport last week.

You made me wince with that first paragraph -- two people were killed when they got creamed by a tour bus not far from here a few days ago. :-(

Humidity is the worst. I have a hell of a time breathing in it myself.

Glad you made it home safely - and clicked :)

It is 9:06 AM here as I post... and already over 80 degrees F. WTF? Humidity is about that, too.

I need to go die. Normally, I am always cold... so for me to be hot speaks volumes.

humidity is actually pretty dangerous to humans. So where do all the elderly go with breathing problems? Florida...

Ha! So true. I hadn't thought of it that way. Old people love it here too, along with what I like to call "the lizard people". When it's 70 outside with low humidity, and Barry and I are finally comfortable, they're all "We're cooold". I kid you not.
