As expected (a writer's question)
Aug. 14th, 2009 05:30 pm Samhain turned down my space opera novella. I think this is probably the last time I'm writing for them unless I see something REALLY cool. Not because I can't handle rejection but because they want novellas and literally NO ONE else does. So I'm stuck with a story that's really too long to cut up. On the other hand you can consider it a third of a way to a novel.
However there is probably one or two places that would take it. Since I have other authors on my list, anyone know of a market for a space opera novella. Honestly the sex could be pulled out and the romance kept if need be.
The ralan market had a listing for logical lust but I know nothing about them.
mjules I think you said Loose Id takes het (it was hard to tell from their submissions page). They will look at something this size though.
Options anyone?
