My piece of the world decided to be hotter today than it's been all summer. Bah. We're entering my all time favorite time of year. I love autumn. There is almost nothing I don't love about it.




I've spent the day poking around the people of walmart site. I'm relieved of two things a) I'm NOT on there b) there are people so much more weird than me.

Speaking of weird, OHIO made it on the site often, including for vehicles. I can attest to the weird-ass shit that goes on with OH cars and trucks. Cleveland was by far and away the worst. I actually don't see it much down here (well today in the parking lot someone had a black plastic side window...) Dad's personal favorites from Cleveland was the yutz driving with a bent frame. His vehicle was nearly a V. We don't know how it drove. That ties with the enterprising soul who replaced a broken back windshield with black plastic (apparenly never hearing it's made in clear) who then cut a rear-view mirror shaped hole. (I've seen this also done with sheets and twice, wood!) Mom's favorite was the three separate drivers who were missing car doors and substituted the amusement park ride chain across the hole. My favorites were the countess ones driving with their mirrors hanging by the control cables, bouncing and sparking off the asphalt while their gas tank cap was a rag. 0_0

Hee... I should get you some pictures of the Jesus God Car that drives around here. I haven't seen it for a while though... belongs to a former coworker of mine whose husband plastered it with ultra conservative bumper stickers and then when that wasn't enough, spray painted "Jesus God" on the doors with different colored spray paint around the words. My former coworker said she could have killed him. I would have divorced him and made him buy me a new car.

that's all kinds of special. Columbus was good for the ultra conservative bumper stickers while i lived there (and yet oddly placed the third best place to live if you were gay in the 90's...) But we didn't have a Jesus God car

I have an interesting rear passenger side window. Tino got locked in the car with it running, heater on full defrost and the music going at "road trip" volume on Christmas Day. I let MEN try to get him out. They got out tools... I am sure it was safety glass because it all pebbled inside the door so it doesn't open.

We can't find the part. Boo... though now I have the 2nd incarnation of the "keep rain/snow" out on the window. Layers of clear packing tape with a Badtz Maru sunshade trapped in between. It's water and air tight. (It can even go through the carwash!) You can also play it like a drum. ;)

My sister thinks she's scared up a '99 SL1 rear door in gold that we can replace the whole works with and then swap out for the silver faschia. :)
