it's all bright and gaudy. What ho? a sky of blue? It's been grey for nine straight days, I forgotten there were other colors. The sun heated things up nicely for the putting out of Halloween decorations...which was more like the dance of the wounded hippopatamus.
I'm pretty sure that someone has a knife under my shoulder blade and is trying to pry it off my back. OW. It made moving interesting, let alone decorating.
Yes I took pictures. Will try to remember to share.
Found Iktomi's Dracula costume. Yes, I will try to put it on Roy. Anyone got neosporin and bandages ready?
Memories, been thinking about them today since for one, I was watching The Simpson's Tree House of Terror XX TWENTY YEARS. I've been watching this dumb cartoon for 20 years. I have people on my flist that weren't alive when i started watching this.
I feel so old.
along those lines of remembering things, I saw a head and shoulders commericial today with one of my favorite Steelers (properly pronounced Stillers, dear commerical) I was snickering away at Troy's unexpectedly high voice but at least I remember what he was selling. That's a problem today. Half the time you can't remember wth they're selling.
So while I was showering out of nowhere I started singing Hot Dogs, Armor Hot Dogs and that naturally segued into Oscar Meyer Bologna (yes I am slowly going insane, thanks for asking) When it comes to memory, one of the strongest triggers is smell then comes music. We can't learn via smell but we CAN by song. Maybe commericials have done themselves a disservice by abandoning the jingle.
This naturally segued into SchoolHouse rocks. Yes, I CAN still recite the preamble to the constitution. Okay I can sing it (badly) but you get way I'm saying. The easiest math I ever learned was in third grade when I had a year-long substitute teacher who wanted to be a rocker (he still plays around home) who made the multiplication tables into a song. No, I don't plan on making my lectures into a musical but I DO wonder if there are musical mnemonics for anatomy.

I bet the place looks great. I don't think Roy will enjoy a costume at ALL. Tino tolerates costumes/clothes... for a bit. He HATES hats.
If you really want a laugh... Stephen Fry and BBC Nature Shows. Yes... I'm secretly a 10 year old boy when it comes to words like "Shag".
