Because every time I tried to move, things went wrong. I was just about to go out the door in the AM and mom called.
I round up the recyclables, the canvas shopping bags, truck 13 miles to the grocery store...and realize I forgot my person. I am so made of fail. So I get my pills (insurance covered), do the recycling, come home, still want the Columbus sunday paper since this is prime coupon time, head to the Marathon station at work since that's half the distance of going back to Jackson.
It didn't have any papers. They weren't delivered. I thought son of a bitch. Nothing is going right. I thought hmmm the BP station is up a block (well not really, we don't have sidewalks or nothing but you get the idea) I go even though I'm thinking why would they have papers if Marathon didn't. And they did.
It was sweaty hot again so I finished weeding the garden and slit a finger open on that tough dry grass that ate right through my old gloves.
Spent most of the day writing/making tests. Go to make dinner...unwrap the chicken breast and spill the blood all over my shirt (ew, salmonella). I'm making Buffalo Wing sauce. Spill the melted butter on the floor. Put butter container in sink and run water in it. It hits the container in such a way to completely spray me. In defeat I collect dinner and go to watch tv and spill the sauce on the carpet. I'm now back in front of the computer with good hot chocolate (yes I spilled the milk) where i hopefully can't maim myself.
