I'm back in the UK and a bit behind with my commenting, but just wanted to say thanks for posting these - they both really resonated with my experience writing No Small Injury (which is actually the longest fictional thing I've ever written, and my first attempt to work with such a complicated plot and so many characters). It's good to hear that it's okay for it not to be easy!
