Got home to find out the landlord was busy wrapping fiberglass around the pipes to keep them from bursting. SOme got into the ductwork somehow (don't even want to know) and when I turned on the heat it blew fiberglass out of the vent. Luckily it went up into the curtain and not OUT onto my bed

Yargh, yes. I turned a corner on my way back from a friend's house in the middle of nowhere and startled three of them out of the frozen puddle they were attempting to drink from. Fortunately they bounded away into the fields, not out into the road. Brrr.
