Not having to be at work by 8 means I'm more awake to do stuff at night.
Mom's much improved. Thanks for everyone who's been asking
my survival strategy for this semester = pretend that everything is good and happy and my W-2 didn't show a 3 thousand dollar decrease (thank you state of OH and your new restrictions on how much I can teach)
you asked for it. feral kitten of doom Needs naming. Was far more wary of both me and M, my neighbor who's been feeding skankie the mom cat all this time (looks pregnant again. Gah)
Rasputin the mouse is still alive.
So the FMA question (since my last one got such a great and FUN response, thank you)
I want to have someone out to kill Edward, post series (different story obviously). This is a common theme for me (Ed, Riza, Roy, such assassin bait). I've used Kimbley more than once (and now...well...sob, KIMBLEY), I'm using relatives of General Raven in a story you haven't seen yet to bring down Ed.
So, anyone have any post Promised Day thoughts. Who might want Ed dead and would have taken 5 years to meticulously plan his death? (I figure at this point the homunculi are dead and gone since i don't see Pride or Wrath making it out of this) I was trying to avoid making an OC for this
ETA - Lots of prompts went up at
halfamoon tv, books, anime/manga, have a look and celebrate the female characters.

Date: 2010-01-23 03:21 pm (UTC)There's quite a few of them when we see their work on Bradley and the other candidates - so I reckon you could plausibly have one or two slip through the net and hole up in Aerugo or wherever. After all, they were looking for a lot of WWII criminals for years on end.

Date: 2010-01-23 03:46 pm (UTC)I actually meant Goldtooth's fellow scientists and creepbags, but a military old guard/state alchemist alliance could be cool. Villains are fun.

Date: 2010-01-23 04:20 pm (UTC)there is really no shortage of villians or would be villians judging by the reply.

Date: 2010-01-23 04:46 pm (UTC)Btw I'm reading through the extracts you sent and I don't think Roy sounds that creepy - but he is friendlier and less abrasive with Ed in that scene than he sometimes is early on in the manga. Maybe just a quick tweak to get the tone more in line with what you're after? I'll send you some quick notes when I'm done.
Villains everywhere!

Date: 2010-01-23 06:07 pm (UTC)Oh good, that's good to know. I think Roy is a bit more worried than usual. I'll be looking forward to the notes.
right now in his new scene, he's back to tormenting Ed so it seems to be going fine

Date: 2010-01-23 03:33 pm (UTC)Heck, Ed could've done what he did to Yoki to someone else - he's clever and a brat - and that someone could be more of a psychopath than Yoki.

Date: 2010-01-23 07:34 am (UTC)As for names... is this kitteh a queen or a tom? That can make a big difference in naming conventions. (though not always)

Date: 2010-01-23 03:22 pm (UTC)I dont' know. Kitteh is too fluffy for a casual look.

Date: 2010-01-23 04:52 pm (UTC)If it was a boy you could name it Zorro, or some kind of bandit name.
It really has classic show quality bi-color markings though. 2/3 or so black, full black mask with white blaze.
