Halloween Fic!

I've got a few Halloween Fic's for everyone.

This first one is actually a chapter in a much longer work but it also works as a stand alone (you've seen part of it for Maren's birthday. now here's the whole ridiculously long chapter)  Leaning on the Edge of E. It's also a AtS/BtVS cross over  and has a little suggested sex (pairings: Connor/Faith, Buffy/Angel, Spike/Illyria, Willow/Kennedy). For backstory, all you need to know to pick up the action is this is post NFA, and Angel and Connor are on a journey of self-discovery and fence-mending

The next one was written for a challenge by those at www.andy-hallet.com and it needed to be a Lorne centric halloween fic (yes, I wrote a Lorne story, imagine that). Set in early S4.  A Little Night Music

The last story is from the lyric wheel Halloween challenge last year but was a widely underread story (I think the Connor/Cordy notation scared them off). It's set early S4 before Spin the Bottle and while it is C/C it's not really shippy per se. If you'd like to read it (and I like my group of killers so much I'll probably use them all elsewhere except the Soul Eater since they're all from non-Jossverse legend) go here to Hunter's Moon.

I loved "A Little Night Music". A perfect fill-in-the-blanks fic before "Spin the Bottle". And especially sad at seeing how much Connor cared about Cordy, knowing he was being played the entire time.

I don't remember if I gave FB for "Hunter's Moon" but I have always loved the set of demons. What a great idea to eat up everything except the squeal.

Finally, the expended version of "Leaning" is such a beautiful story. I love the Angel/Connor and the Angel/Buffy bonding. One minor point - I'd change where Angel says "Angelus" to "me". I think he's talked about Angelus in the third person exactly twice in the course of both shows - while everyone else makes a distinction, Angel never does, which makes sense. Anyway, poor Angel winning for most frightening costume. It has to be somewhat disconcerting. (And how sweet that Buffy doesn't even notice.)

I think you did FB Moon way back when I still like those baddies.

Leaning - Good point about ANgelus. I'll go fix that. I figured that was one of the sweetest parts of the B/A ship, she didn't care about his game face. Now to get back to this story some day so we can see what happens from the time COnnor rides into the battle on dragon back and this

The addition to Leaning on the Edge of E was so great. I laughed out loud several times, but Angel's crack about winning scariest with his own face was the best. Plus, nummy B/A. I can't wait for more of this one.

THanks. Glad you liked it. I'm glad the humor worked. I was going to have something bad happened then decided you know what, fluff might be in orderI would like to see more of this myself however certain characters are being jerks. That and my stupid ficathon deadlines but I'm almost done with all of them...in time for nanomo which is my back doesn't shape up is gonna be difficult since sitting has become painful. Grrrr.

I feel you on the back thing. I'm using a dining room chair right now because my cheap office chair was killing me- not that this is better. I think I may have talked my husband into this chair last night (he was drunk). I just need to decide what color I want.

Ooo nice. Yeah I've lined my cheap cheap cheap armless task chair with pillows but I've had a three day weekend 90% of which has been parked here working on ficathon stories.

Blurgh. I know exactly what you're going through. Two weeks ago my back started hurting and I figured I just pulled something. I am currently in agony and close to tears. I have to call my doctor tomorrow, hopefully he can recommend someone.

good luck. I have bad discs in my lumbar and in my cervical spine. Pain is normal but sometimes it gets a but much.

When Connor does one of those jumping moves, it's an "aerial". Arial is a typeface.

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. You commented on the original run of this. And aerial...that's how I had it originally and you and ELD told me to change it to this. I thought it was wrong. I'll go back and fix it again.
