Dawn/Spike Ficathon

Yea! Dances around the house, I got it done before I had to leave for FL . Thanks to evil_little_dog for the beta. Here's my Dawn/Spike story for  Kristi's Dawn/Spike ficathon. I was writing for Stars. I hope this fits your challenge which was a lot of fun. The story DID misbehave itself since all the great additional characters you wanted in the story tried to take over (In my stories, you put Angel and Spike together and they act like 4 year old siblings. And one of my favorite other unconventional ships wanted to take over. I beat them back to a dull roar so I hope you don't mind too much, Stars). I set this in the city I grew up outside of. Please feel free to explore her a little with the links I've provided. Any remaining typos and idiocy come from me adding about 1500 words after my beta was done with it and there wasn't time for my usual second beta. Oh, and a character from one of my other stories wormed his way in as the villian so I put a link to that story too. NO need to read it, they're totally independent stories but if you want to read about Spike's past feel free. It was the first challenge story I've ever written)

Okay, I *finally* had a chance to read 'Silent Night'! Sweetie, you *MORE* than fullfilled my request! I adored this fic! I loved the way Dawn reacted to Spike, and how they have always had feelings for one another, but have finally allowed themselves to act on them.

The Build-A-Bear was the undoing of me! I can just imagine Spike standing in line next to some little 8 year-old girl stuffing his bear! *G* That was sweet! You did a fabulous job with all of the characters I asked for, and I really enjoyed reading about your original one as well!

Thanks for letting me know what you thought of it (for me the disappointment of ficathons isn't delayed stories, it's never hearing back from the person I wrote for). I'm SO glad you liked this story.

I had planned on that build-a-bear for another story (another fandom) nad thought oh yes I could so see Spike doing that.

I'm glad you liked it. In case you didn't guess I was orginially from the Pittsburgh Area (my best friend from college lived on Sweet Brier for years) Thanks for the fun challenge.
