I woke up feeling lightheaded, slightly headachy and hella tired (this is not the good augering part) This is when Mom tells me that the couple I don't like are coming up tonight. UGH. As I told evil_little_dog that I planned to 'go out with friends' when they came up but now I'm sick (and really I am) so mom says just stay upstairs then and don't bother with them.

But they blew my parents off. WOO HOO. Twice now this holiday. My parents might go to my aunt's house (where they're staying as she's actually prejudice woman's real aunt) in the morning. I'm a late riser so I get out of going (in theory) but even if I don't it'll be a short trip because the Steeler game is tomorrow and they want all visitors out (which should tell everyone what they need to know. You rate under football) And they leave monday so I am hoping this is a sign for the coming year where things that upset me are removed from my presence.


I got my official Hazbin merch today, the holiday poster and key chains (all sold out now) and the season 1 DVDs. I am happy to have that (luckily I'm too tired for my why you don't own downloads rant)

That's what evil little dog said too. I am super unskilled at this. I can wrap a wound like no one's business but give me a gift... and yes I know that makes no sense

I watched a video. I mean I watched it a few times. But once I did it, it wasn't bad. I did have to rewatch the video when I did it a second time.

And I mean... were you perfect wrapping a wound the first time? I'm sure you've had more practice with a wound than with a gift.

Thanks, it's part mine, part Mom's (when I was practicing medicine I was only home for a few days for the holidays so I decorated home. Now as a professor I'm off a month, I don't bother)

Yep I do have a Seven of Nine. What I need is a Chekov and a Scotty to have the full original cast (there's too many of the others to worry about)

Mom has a third tree (ceramic) downstairs and we had a fourth one in the back room but it bit the dust.

As far as I know, it started in American libraries several years ago for Valentine's day (at least in my area I should say) and people loved it. The crafty people took notice. Friends tell me this is easy to do (I have my doubts)

If I were craftier I'd probably wrap up my discards and do this myself
