Okay office hour of boredom (i.e. I don't wanna grade). To expand on last night's debacle, at dinner time the broad band worked fine. At 9 it did not. I called Verizon and for hours we batted this around. he scared the death out of me saying it was a virus (which I still think is possible but NOT the cause of this issue) because of how much usage I'm showing in a month. Apparently I'll not be doing many games on facebook anymore. sigh. ONE month. This thing lasted ONE month

However, when i put it in Bean Ed the netbook, it still did not work and I said well that should prove it's not a virus (since the tech dude was NOT going to put a work order forward on my problem because it was a virus). he finally agreed that was unlikely. He asked how long this was going on I said just today like a dozen times, he didn't listen to me well. Then he started in about another work order that got closed out because they couldn't reach me and I went off. They were calling during the day even though they knew to call at night and I couldn't reach that person. I hate Verizon I really do

So I have no idea when I'll be back online at night. i don't want to connect how i did last night since they track that. I'd rather not get in trouble but I do have to pay bills...


Then as if that wasn't enough, the storm last night brought hail. LOTS of hail. My car was too wet to access damange this morning but it was crazy bad last night. I tried to get the boys in. I saw kanda streak by and under the porch. He was safe enough there.

Speaking of that brat, as I was trying to bring in groceries, he did his best to trip me three times. THe neighbors were laughing

I don't understand what's going on with Verizon. I've had Verizon DSL for years now, and have very little problem with the connection. Occasionally, the connection would go down, but if I needed to call tech, we always go it back up again pretty easily. And I've never had them say anything to me about my usage, and I'm on the damned internet all the time.

i don't have DSL. I have wireless broadband sadly. I wanted DSL. DSL is cheaper and has no limits. i have a 5 gig limit
